The AI Arbitrage Opportunity
A New Report where I thinks it's evil, then I think maybe not. Then I well, see for yourself...
A new report for you, Legends.
It’s on the pros and cons of AI arbitrage business opportunities.
Well, that’s where it started, after being amazed by MidJourney. It ended up as a guide to using one of the many AI Arbitrage opportunities out there as a deliberate practice to build a business.
I’m trying something new here (let me know in the comments if this is helpful).
I’ve kicked off the report here in Substack so you can get a feel if it’s for you. Then, if you like where it’s heading, you can get the whole PDF Guide at the download link below.
Enjoy!
The Miracle Of MidJourney
I've always wanted to Draw. Looking back now, my type of ADHD meant I could not stick at it long enough to get good.
But...
I've always been able to come up with concepts and scenarios, and I've been able to do things in video and Keynote. I’ve had fun doing it.
Google Images has been my best friend from the moment it came out.
Google Images is fine for private presentations, but I always had to be sure of copyright material and rely on Creative Commons for commercial use.
Even video has become so much. Using Descript, I created an entire video without me appearing. I could use Giphy and Public Domain stock videos to get a message across without creating it myself.
However, this is nothing compared to the scenario we have now.
If you can dream it and put your vision into words, it can be created in seconds.
What does that have to do with arbitrage, making money and evil?
Everything.
What's in the Box?
Steven Pressfield wrote something that has stayed with me from the moment I read it. (One of those punch-in-the-gut moments I keep telling you about)
If I have a religion, it's this: "There is always something in the box."
He refers to a section in the book Improv Wisdom where one of the rules of Improvisation is "There is always Something In The Box."
If one of your fellow actors hands you the box, there is always something in it.
I believe this profoundly, and as a concept in the AI era, it's become even more critical.
And yes, this has everything to do with Making Money Fast and Quick in the AI era.
And Evil.
The Demo
The practical applications of ChatGPT are super clear, and it has captured the imagination.
For me, the magic of MidJourney and its ability to create an image that, if you didn't look at it closely (and more and more, even if you did), looks like a real photo or a still from a movie.
It is Insane.
I can think of any situation and create an incredible image. Then, with face-swapping tech - insert myself into the image.
Does this raise questions - of course - lots of them.
Way more intelligent people than myself are looking at all those issues.
For me, it allows me to educate and entertain closer than ever before to what I see in my head.
That would make a good T-Shirt
When I was creating images for my presentation on the Ikigai Super Prompt, there were a bunch of images where I thought if I saw this on a T-shirt, I would buy it!
The market was way ahead of me.
Um Ed, Making Money and Arbitrage…
Evil…
Gees, let me spell it out for you.
The AI Arbitrage Game
Whenever a new technology is released, there is an arbitrage opportunity.
The technology (which represents "insider information") creates an opportunity to buy low (or create easy) and sell it higher.
In video game terms, we would call it grinding.
Sometimes, there are exploits we can do to harvest more stuff in the game than the game designer intended.
This bug in the system is always patched out, but it's fun while it lasts.
I should point out that the real players have been honing their skills. (Reference Acknowledged)
Real players are playing the game for the long term.

The guide goes into;
Using Arbitrage To Build A Practice.
What Developing A Business Practice could mean for you
It took me three decades to realise a key error in my teaching. If I’d known this earlier, even more people would have been successful in the challenge…
If you like this newsletter I think you are going to like this guide and find it very practicle.

If you found this report useful, can you share this page on your socials. I think this guide will help a lot of people.

P.S. I’m not even kidding about this, what I’m about to write is not a joke. The Barbie Movie for me in 2023 was every bit as impactful as me seeing Star Wars in 1978. I’m profundly serious about this. Perhaps an article for another time. In my opinion perhaps one of the cleverest scripts ever written.
P.P.S I’m serious.
Loved your report on AI arbitrage opportunities. Your insights on using AI as a deliberate practice to build a business are spot-on.
It says a lot for a guy who is obsessed with AI at the moment to immediately fixate on your opinion of the Barbie movie. I loved it so, so much and I need to read the article you’ll (hopefully) inevitably write about it. Such a clever, clever film.
That said, fantastic article here. I’m deep down the rabbit hole on this at the moment. Opportunities are rife for those that pay attention and know where to focus that deliberate practice.
