Step-by-Step Breakdown: Ikigai Super Prompt for Entrepreneurs
Download the full presentation with full directors notes
Hi Team,
Today, I released the Directors Cut and breakdown of the Ikigai SuperPrompt.
I break down each step of the Prompt and what I was thinking when I tested it.
I have some theories about Prompt-writing from the perspective of someone who has made a life work of convincing people to do things through their writing.
It’s all totally unproven.
The core theory goes, if these language models use language the same way we do. Then prompts should be written as if we were handing them to a fellow human.
Or expressed in an even more controversial way.
Should we think of writing prompts the same way we write sale letters?
What I am seeing - and it really set’s my spider sense off - Is “ordering” Chat GPT doesn’t appear to work that well. Just like when you order a human around.
They forget because they haven’t been given context for why they are being ordered to do something.
In good communications, (and sales letters, the same thing really!) you need to repeat and emphasise key points if the receiver of the communication has a snowflakes chance in hell of doing what you want them to do.
I could be totally wrong about this but it will be fun testing it out
I’d love to hear your theories in the comments.
If for some reason you haven’t seen me using and testing the prompt - you can download the prompt itself and watch the video here

Hi Ed, good project and congrats! May I ask a question? When I put the whole super prompt into my ChatGPT 4 I get the error message that it's too long though it's only 1.5k words and the beast should do around 4k max? Thank you very much
